Citizens Information Center

Volusia County’s Citizens Information Center is available for persons
who have questions about preparing for Hurricane Irma. The center is
operating 24/7 until further notice. The number is 866-345-0345.

Florida Department of Health in Volusia County

The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County will be closed
Monday, Sept. 11.

Halifax Health

Halifax Health’s emergency departments in Daytona Beach, Port Orange
and Deltona will remain open 24 hours a day throughout the storm to take
care of those in need of medical care.

All Halifax Health outpatient offices are closed until further notice.

·       Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach, 303 N. Clyde
Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach
·       Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange, 1041 Dunlawton
Ave., Port Orange

New Smyrna Beach

Residents may call the city’s Community Information Center at
386-424-2113 or 386-424-2114. As of 8 a.m. today, the center had fielded
265 calls.

Waste Pro will not pick up waste on Monday. Any other missed days will
be rescheduled on the next regular scheduled day. For example,
Monday’s collection will be on Thursday. Homeowners should not
place waste outside today.

The air traffic control tower at the New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport
is closed and will reopen at 10 a.m.  Tuesday. The airport will remain
open as a non-controlled airport until Tuesday, when it will assess
effects from the storm.

Ormond Beach

The City of Ormond Beach has canceled trash collection for Monday,
Sept. 11. Monday's collection will occur Tuesday, Sept. 12. Tuesday's
collection will be on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

There will be no yard waste pickup on Wednesday. The regular collection
schedule will resume Thursday, Sept. 14.
