Honor the fallen at Memorial Day remembrance events in Flagler County

Palm Coast Memorial Day Ceremony

When:  Monday, May 29 at 8 a.m.

Where: Heroes Memorial Park, 2860 Palm Coast Pkwy. NW, Palm Coast

Guests can honor the men and women who died serving in the U.S. military. There will be guest speakers and a presentation of color by Coastal Florida Police & Fire Pipes & Drums and the Palm Coast Fire Department Honor Guard. If there is rain, the ceremony will be moved to Palm Coast Fire Station 21, 9 Corporate Drive.

 

Flagler County Memorial Day Ceremony

When: Monday, May 29 at 10 a.m.

Where: In front of the Government Services Building at 1769 East Moody Blvd., Bunnell

The ceremony will honor Private First Class Jonathan “Nat” Spicer, who was in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a former Flagler County resident and former Bunnell High School student. Guests are invited to participate in a 2K run/walk immediately following the ceremony, which will be sponsored by the Flagler Sheriff Police Athletic League.

 

Flagler Beach Memorial Day Tribute

When: Monday, May 29 at 1 p.m.

Where: Flagler Beach Veterans Park

The Memorial Day tribute will feature Flagler Palm Coast High School’s JROTC for the presentation of colors, distinguished guest speakers from military backgrounds, as well as speeches from Flagler Beach Mayor Linda Provencher and Flagler Beach Commission Chairwoman Jane Mealy.
