12:45 p.m. — The 300 Block of West Granada Boulevard.
Petit Theft. The manager of Winn Dixie told police that he observed a white male enter the store and grab a hand basket. He then filled it with 10 lobster tails and four packages of crab legs and exited the store without making an attempt to purchase the food.

10:20 p.m. — The Intersection of East Granada Boulevard and North Halifax Drive.
Possession of Marijuana. Officers were conducting a traffic stop when the rear-seated passenger of the vehicle started making assertive movements. After requesting additional officers for backup, a K9 was brought in to sniff the car for drugs. His behavior gave police probable cause to conduct a vehicle search.
During the search, police found a fourth occupant hiding in the trunk of the vehicle. Officers realized that's why the rear-seated passenger was making assertive movements; they were allowing the defendant to relocate to the trunk. The defendant was found to have had an open warrant for his arrest.
Police found cannabis on the floor of the driver's side of the car and passenger compartments, a clear baggie with a green, leafy substance underneath the front passenger seat, a multicolored glass smoking apparatus in the center console and a cannabis grinder and carrying container inside a pink purse.
They also found a clear baggie with a white powdery substance on the rear driver's side seat, which tested negative got methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin. The defendant said the substance was crushed Tylenol that was used for a prank.

1:32 a.m. — The Intersection of South Nova Road and Hand Avenue.
Driving With License Suspended or Revoked. A citizen called police about a male passed out behind the wheel of a car. Upon arrival, the vehicle began driving northbound on South Nova Road very slowly.
After police attempted to make a traffic stop, the car struck a curb, drove onto the sidewalk, almost struck a power pole, drove back onto the road, sped up, struck the curb again, drove back up onto the sidewalk, almost struck a stop sign and finally stopped on the sidewalk.
The driver told police that he was driving because the woman in the passenger seat was intoxicated. Officers conducted field sobriety exercises and determined that there was not probable cause for a DUI arrest, but the driver informed them that his licensed has been suspended since 2011. He was arrested.
