The Ormond Beach Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man who vandalized the Halifax Humane Society Thrift Shop's truck and building.

A store employee received a call about the graffiti Feb. 7 and after going to the store and finding the vandalism, she pulled up security footage from that night. In the video, the man came from behind the building — where more graffiti was found — and removed a spray paint can from the right front pocket of his pants, which appear to have a solid stripe down the sides. He was also carrying a duffle bag with shoulder strap.

The incident happened around midnight, and police believe the man in the video is a suspect in several vandalism cases in Ormond Beach. The characters he painted have been found in several other locations. According to the report, the man did about $500 in damage to the store.

If anyone has information about recent vandalism cases in Ormond Beach, please contact Detective Corporal John Borzner at 676-3535 or [email protected]
