Beachside drivers could experience delays on Nov. 25 as the city hosts the annual Birthplace of Speed Gas Light Parade.

Riverside Drive, from East Granada Boulevard to Casement Drive, will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 5 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m., the parade will start at East Granada Boulevard and Riverside Drive and go east on East Granada Boulevard. It will continue to South Atlantic Avenue, turn right, and proceed south to Harvard Drive, where it will disperse.

Vehicular traffic along the parade route should expect extensive delays, according to Ormond Beach Police Department. For questions or concerns, contact the OBPD Traffic Unit at 676-3550.
