You'll be seeing some familiar faces on TV in the upcoming weeks, as Omar Brown and Camille Holder-Brown of Kale Cafe were recently filmed for an MSNBC show called "Your Business."

The small business focused program includes a profile of a small business owner, guests panelists who help answer questions and work with the business owners to figure out how to grow. Brown said they applied to be on the show because they are looking to open a third location and wanted to know the best way to go about it.

During the filming, which took place over the course of a few days this past week, the show crew went to both the Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach Kale Cafe locations and spoke with the rest of Omar Brown and Camille Holder-Brown's family.

Though Camille Holder-Brown has a masters degree in film and was used to that kind of spotlight, Omar Brown said he was not.

"You can get really self conscious," he said. "But once you talk to the people enough, you get used to it."

Brown said he is currently unaware of when the show will air. New editions of 'Your Business' broadcast at 7:30 a.m. on Sundays on MSNBC, and reruns of those episodes are at 5:30 a.m. the following Saturday.

Kale Cafe is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at 48 E. Granada Blvd. Call 944-615.

Kale Cafe and Evolution Health Club will be a part of the upcoming Daytona Beach Festival of Chariots. The Bhakti yoga culture and wellness festival will include a parade on the beach, a yoga workshop, vegetarian food, Kirtan music, dance performances, healthy living booths and more.
