Justin Fifiele, a sophomore, was helping put together the new guitar stands that had just been donated to Flagler Palm Coast High School music teacher Amy Fulmer, when he got a big surprise.

Anthony Wild, founder of Kids Rock the Nation, donated the stands on May 23 because Fulmer's guitar class had no real storage for their instruments. “This has been a wonderful gift for us,” she said.

Fifiele has been taking guitar lessons from Wild and even had the opportunity to play with him on stage the night before, on May 22, at The Beaver Bar, in Ormond Beach.

Some time earlier, a friend of Wild's had built a Fender guitar and told him to give it to the right person. At the school on May 23, Wild told Fifiele he was the right person. Fifiele smiled from ear to ear. He had seen guitars like this in music stores and always dreamed of owning one.

Kids Rock the Nation is all about giving back. Wild had cancer 15 years ago and had asked his doctor what he could do to thank him for saving his life. His doctor told him to take his music and help kids all over the nation. And that is just what Wild is doing with Kids Rock the Nation.
