A 3-year-old boy is in Halifax Hospital today after a crash on 58 W. Granada Blvd.

According to the Ormond Beach Police Department, the driver of a 1993 Chevy Blazer, 29-year-old Ashley Wilson, drove her car to Nature's Garden. Upon arrival, she left her son in the car unattended, and the car somehow shifted into reverse, backing out of the parking lot and onto West Granada Boulevard.

While the vehicle was in motion, the child somehow fell out of the car and was injured. The child was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
