Ormond woman opens mobile 'Classy Selfie Station'

The selfie station will include backdrops of the beach, Paris and the International Speedway.

Dee Dee Marquette knows you love your selfies, and she wants to help you take them to the next level.

A Classy Selfie Station will host its grand opening Sept. 9 to Sept. 11 in the C59-61 sections of the Daytona Flea and Farmers Market, 1425 Tomoka Farms Road. The station will include backdrops of places like the beach, the Effiel Tower and the International Speedway, complete with props to match.

"Everyone takes selfies," Marquette said. "Everyone wants to send them immediately to their friends or post them on Facebook."

Marquette said she will also create custom backdrops for anniversaries, birthday parties and other events. With so many businesses out there doing selfie booths, she wants to offer more with her unique selfie station.

"I wanted to do something differrent and new," she said. "Something creative and fun for people."
