Happy Belated Birthday to Mildred O’Bryan

Mildred O’Bryan celebrated her 93rd birthday on March 16, with a group of 12 ladies at the Chicken Pantry in Bunnell.

O’Bryan has been a leader in many church and civic organizations. She is a popular figure in the A.M. Guild and the Black Catholic Guild of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Mildred came to her party sporting a bright green hat in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.

Several guests stopped by the lunch table to wish her a happy birthday, including Flagler County Sheriff’s Office representative J. Troiano, a deputy, and Flagler County tax collector Suzanne Johnston.

Keeping with the group’s tradition, Andrea Parham read the birthday cards to O’Bryan. Fellow 90-something girl, Lucille Heusner filled the gaps with a steady string of jokes.
