OUR TOWN: Ormond Memorial Art Museum hosts colored pencil exhibit

The Colored Pencil Society of America's Annual International Exhibition will be displayed in the museum from June 13 to Aug. 25.

Typically, artists create with acrylics, watercolor or pastels. Starting June 13, a group of artists with an unusual medium will display their work at the Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum.

The Colored Pencil Society of America's Annual International Exhibition will include the work of more than 120 artist who use 100 percent colored pencil in their art. The CPSA will be awarding more than $15,000 to participating artists.

The exhibit will run until Aug 25.
