Two teens who were spotted weeks ago in the Palm Coast area after they ran away together from their western Florida homes May 27 were found safe July 9 — in Montana.

The teens, 14-year-old Ivy Warhul and 16-year-old Ronnie Sousa, ran out of gas on a rural stretch of interstate three miles from the nearest gas exit, according to a post by the administrator of the Help Find Ivy and Ronnie Facebook page.

A local Sheriff’s Office deputy found the two and discovered that they’d been reported missing.

Their families flew out to Montana and picked them up July 10. The two were missing for 44 days.
