Palm Coast named in Top 10 most competitive job markets

PALM COAST — Beyond.com, an online career network, has named Palm Coast in its Top 10 list of easiest cities to find qualified job candidates.

The list identifies Palm Coast as the eighth-best city in the country for employers to find and hire quality job-seekers based on the city's 9.3% unemployment rate, as well as the fact that its pool of job candidates has grown 48% from the fourth quarter of 2012 to the fourth quarter of 2013.

The data shows Palm Coast’s average salary as $40,000, its cost of living as 5% below the national average and its easiest industries to hire for as health care and medical, real estate and building maintenance, and information technology.
