According to Palm Coast’s Business Assistance Center, the following companies were issued tax receipts Aug. 26 to Aug. 30:

• Architectural Granite Inc is a countertop installation business at 18 Hargrove Grade.
• J Lovely Nails & Spa Inc is a salon at 105 Flagler Plaza Drive.
• Home-based businesses: Dark Wizardry, a Carpenter; CRD Landscapes, a landscaping service; Maid Clean By Melinda LLC, a janitorial service; David Wilkinson Carpentry, a carpenter; American Quality Transport LLC, a trucking company; Raisa Miroshnik, a handyman; Frances Espinoza Clean Up , a handyman service; Cottage & Castle, an interior decorating service; Tropical Sun Chasers Inc, an unclassified personal service.

The following is an update for permit activity in the city Aug. 22 to Aug 29. Total number of all permits issued: 159.
Commercial permit applications:

• La Piazza Restaurant applied for a $1,500 permit for interior renovations at 101 Palm Harbor Parkway, Unit A-109.
Residential permits issued:
• New Coastal Homes was issued a $258,000 permit for a single-family residence at 36 Fenwood Lane.
• Keystone Homes was issued a $224,000 permit for an addition at 8 Cardwell Court.
• Vanacore Construction was issued a $186,000 permit for a single-family residence at 9 Random Place.
• Seagate Homes LLC was issued a $183,000 permit for a single-family residence at 22 Undermount Path E.
• Hammock Home Improvements was issued an $8,000 permit for an addition at 73 Kashmir Trail.
• US Aluminum Services was issued a $5,800 permit for an addition at 188 Willow Oak Way.
• A Certified Screen was issued a $5,600 permit for an addition at 2 Port Echo Place.
• East Coast Aluminum was issued a $5,500 permit for an addition at 9 Ryberry Place.
• Sunshine Screen Enclosures was issued a $5,100 permit for an addition at 120 Wellington Drive.
• Sunshine Screen Enclosures was issued a $5,000 permit for an addition at 116 Wellington Drive.
