Both Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas high schools celebrated junior/senior proms this weekend.

More than 600 students attended the FPC event, which was held Friday at the Hilton Daytona Beach. Willie Gardner and Naomie Thomas were crowned king and queen. Michael Thomas and Emily Turner were crowned prince and princess. Other members of the prom court were as follows: king: Keoni Grabowski, Gabriel Martinez, Nick Monsanto and Matthew Sousa; queen: Adrianna LaForest, Antoinette Scarbough, Aliyah Smith and Katie Young; prince: Colton Boyd, Michael Edmonds-Ehman, Marcus Polite and Josh Roberts; and princess: Allysia Beal, Sarah Feeney, Brittany Ray and Hannah Welch.

Matanzas moved its prom in town this year to the Hammock Dunes Club Saturday night, hosting 340 students. Jimbo Murphy and Kaylyn Pitts were crowned king and queen. Marcaus Cooper and Paige Emling were crowned prince and princess. Other members of the prom court were as follows: king: Cameron Allen, Jonathan Cellini, Michael Fritz, Josh Lam and Cory Sattar; queen: Gabie Jackman, Danica Leili, Gabrielle Prickett and Chasity Vigo; prince: Valentin Abaimov and Joey Pelligrino; and princess: Eva Della Ratta and Maddy Lang.
