This Weekend: Hot Foods and Spicy Blues

Bill “The Sauce Boss” Wharton will take over the Florida Agricultural Museum Sunday, March 3, at the third-annual Hot Foods and Spicy Blues Festival. The festival, which runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. will feature a performance by vocalist Linda Cole on stage from noon to 1:30 p.m.

The Sauce Boss will be onstage from 2-4 p.m., as he cooks his famous gumbo while performing his spicy original music, Florida Slide Guitar Blues.

This one-day event will also feature an international fair of spicy foods from area restaurants and retailers. To cool the palate, cold beer and a variety of microbrews will also be available.

Bring canned goods to benefit Feed Flagler. Admission is $5.

+ Make someone’s trash your treasure

The Palm Coast Garden Club will host its Trash to Treasure Sale 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway N.E.

Items include housewares, home accents, books, garden tools, jewelry, toys and games, furniture, electronics and more. Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship fund. Call 446-0341.

The Bunnell Masonic Lodge 200 will also hold a rummage sale 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, at Bunnell Masonic Lodge, 109 S. Bay St., Bunnell. Call 264-3992.
