Red Rumble, The Ravens take the win at Pinewood Derby

The annual Pine Wood Derby stole the show Friday, Feb. 1, at in Flagler Beach First Friday.
In the kids division, Red Rumble won the title, with Speed Wagon coming in second and Z-Car finishing in third.
For the adults, a Super Bowl Sunday premonition was made when the Ravens car won first place. Greased Lightning came in second and The Real Estate Book car came in third.
The Mardi Gras in the Park night featured liver performances by The Mason Music Group, Julia Starr and Livesong. The night was also supposed to be host of the second-annual Slow Cooker Showdown; however, not enough pre-registration caused the showdown to be canceled.
The next Flagler Beach First Friday is scheduled for March 1 and will feature the Navy Band VIP and Captain Nick on the stage as well as a pet clinic.
