The Flagler County Art League will hold an opening reception 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, for its show, The Animal Kingdom, at its gallery, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite 207C.

“(This) show has been very popular for quite a few years now,” said Bob Ammon, director of gallery shows and exhibitions.

In the past, the league has partnered with several animal protective groups. This year, Second Chance Rescue has been invited to be at the opening reception of the show, which includes every animal from elephant to insect.

Well-known marine artsit Rick Cannazzaro will judge the show.

“To date, entries in this show have exceeded all expectations,” Ammon said.
