Flagler Beach resident completes operations training program

Major Mary Murphy, of Flagler Beach, who is attached to the 927th ASTS Unit at MacDill Air Force Base, in Tampa, recently completed the Aeromedical Evacuation Contingency Operations Training program at Camp Bullis, in San Antonio.

Heritage Festival seeks vendors
Flagler County’s rich and historic heritage will be celebrated with a unique first time event. The first ever Flagler Heritage Festival will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Flagler County Fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Road.

The event is free and open to the public, and will feature live music, historical reenactments of the literary works of local authors, an awards ceremony for Flagler County students, and exhibits by the Florida Agricultural Museum and the Flagler County Historical Society.

Exhibitor booth prices range from $75 to $150. The reservation deadline is Nov. 23.
