Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas high schools held their annual pageants this week, crowning Windsor Mills as Miss FPC 2012 and Josh Lam and Alexa Miller as Mr. and Miss Matanzas 2012.

Miss FPC, held Tuesday, March 20, by the Student Government Association, featured nine contestants.
Mills is a junior at FPC and part of the color guard and dance ensemble. First runner-up was awarded to Leana Gardella, a member of the school’s thespians club and the City Repertory Theatre, and Abigail Recker was named second runner-up. Recker is the bandleader for Epic Church’s youth group, Surge.

Mr. and Miss Matanzas, held Wednesday, March 21, by the school’s DECA marketing program, featured seven contestants.

Miller is a cheerleader and captain of the competition squad. First runner-up Gabie Jackman is an advanced placement student and has performed at the Flagler Playhouse. Lacey Rumberger was named second runner-up. She is dual-enrolled at Daytona State College and was the school’s Buddy Walk captain.

Lam hopes to be a pharmacist after college. First runner-up Bradley Parks is a cheerleader and member of the Leo Club, and ROTC member Ralph Lopez was named second runner-up.
