Pool joins largest swim lesson

The Belle Terre Swim & Racquet Club, located at 73 Patricia Drive, took part in the World’s Largest Swim Lesson June 14.

“Everyone in the water, first-time swimmers or not, count toward the record to raise awareness,” said head swim instructor Mary Ellen Cook. More than 65 people signed up help raise awareness of the dangers of swimming and the importance of knowing how to swim correctly.
