The annual Citrus Harvest Festival will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd.

The historical gardens within the park contain a citrus grove with several varieties of oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, lemons and limes. There will be guided tours of the historic citrus grove at 10:30 a.m. and again at 2 p.m.

The Flying Dragon Citrus Nursery, of Jacksonville, will be selling cold-hardy citrus trees in 3- and 5-gallon containers.

At 11 a.m. there will be a program on cooking with citrus by Ruth Micieli, of Simple Gourmet, followed by a tasting.

Other activities will include a plant clinic and the Friends of Washington Oaks will sell homemade baked goods featuring citrus together with hot and cold beverages.

The Second Saturday Sweetheart Plant Sale will feature unusual and hard-to-find gift plants as well as bags of fresh picked citrus.

Ocean Pop – 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Ocean Publishing Gallery and Nerdz Comics, 200 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Eighteen-year-old high school student Kelly Kryspin is the featured artist for this night of art, live music and refreshments. The public is invited.

Movie in the Park – 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Central Park in Town Center. Movie begins at dusk. Admission is free. Bring blankets, chairs and bug spray.

5K Race of the Runways – 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Flagler County Airport, 201 Airport Road. The event is co-sponsored by the Palm Coast Observer and is part of the Palm Coast Race Series. Pre-registration cost is $20 online until 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, and $25 the day of event. For registration and information, visit www.flaglerbeachrotary.org and www.active.com.

Book Sale – 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. There will be a large selection of topics in hard and soft cover books; most books are $2 or less.

Have a Heart for the Arts Beach Run – 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Flagler Beach Pier. There will be a 5K and a kids ½-mile fun run. All proceeds benefit Old Kings Elementary School. Entry fees are $25 for the 5K, $5 for the ½ mile. Maximum age for the fun run is 13 years. Register at Old Kings Elementary School, 301 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach.

Valentine's Dinner Dance – 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the VFW, 47 Old Kings Road N. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner served at 6 p.m. Dancing until 10 p.m. featuring DJ Gary Jo. Cost is $15.

Auditions for Fiddler on the Roof – 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, and Monday, Feb. 13, at the Flagler Playhouse, 301 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell.
