The Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve is 217 acres of salt marsh and coastal scrub communities in Flagler Beach. Early morning, Saturday, Aug. 11, members of the Young Professionals Group of Flagler County gathered to pick up trash from the preserve.

The YPG adopted the park from The Friends of A1A and will now hold quarterly cleanups to ensure the beauty of the park.

Coffee and breakfast for the cleanup was donated by the Beach House Beanery. The next cleanup is tentatively scheduled for October. New volunteers are welcome. Call Candice Gagliardi at 814-594-2446.
