Who says the swells only prime when the sun’s above the skyline?

This Saturday Red Bull Night Riders brings six of surfing’s best aerialists together with the moon and stars for a competition under the spot light at the Flagler Beach Pier, as part of the 12th-annual Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Contest.

Each surfer competing in this tow-out contest has the opportunity to capture big air, pull off his or her best trick and push the limits of their sport.

"We are thrilled to host Red Bull Night Riders at my brother's memorial surf contest,” said Will Tant. “Last year was unlike anything we have ever experienced. This year it will be even better! I can't wait."

This year's nightriders are Blake Jones, C.J. Hobgood, Cody Thompson, Eddie Guilbeau, Jake McGuire and Oliver Kurtz.

Red Bull Night Riders will directly follow the first day of surfing at The Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic presented by Nautica. This annual weekend event celebrates the life of Flagler Beach’s local surf brethren, Tommy Tant, who passed away in 1998 from an aortic aneurysm.
