+ Florida Hospital Flagler expands nurse manager role
Judy Edmonds has been given an expanded role at Florida Hospital Flagler, serving as Intensive Care Unit/Progressive Care Unit Nurse Manager.

With more than 25 years of nursing experience, Edmonds has worked at Florida Hospital Flagler since 2009. She was previously Nurse Manager of the Progressive Care Unit.

+ Salon adds second stylist, launches makeup line
Modern Organic Salon, which opened in Flagler Beach at the beginning of the year, has added a second stylist, Sachiko Colombo.

With a combined 23 years of salon experience, owner Amanda Noyes and Colombo offer natural and organic products.

“It’s healthy for me, it’s healthy for our clients,” Noyes said of her decision to switch exclusively to organically made goods.

+ Flagler Chamber launches Customer Assurance Program
The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates announced plans to launch a Customer Assurance Program to promote “promise, commitment and accountability” between chamber members and their customers.

By enrolling, members agree to accept repercussions when business commitments are not kept or fall short of expectations. The program will include a process to resolve disputes between members and the public, which entitles customers to file disputes with approved companies through the chamber directly. A committee representative will be assigned to each case and will facilitate on the customer’s behalf to reach a resolution with the participating business.

+ Flagler Beach resident starts new service business
Victor Noyes will open a new business called Flagler Property Services June 5. The company specializes in residential and commercial maintenance. A past portfolio manager for Southern States Management Group, Noyes has 20 years of service experience and is a licensed community association manager. He specializes in budget evaluations and recurring services, such as routine pressure washing, painting, garage door service, janitorial and custodial work.

+ Chamber to graduate 19th Leadership class
The 19th class of Leadership Flagler, a community leader program, was scheduled to graduate June 29, at Palm Coast’s Hilton Garden Inn. A three-month program focusing on key aspects of Flagler County’s future commercial, cultural and governmental development, Leadership Flagler was established in 1993 and has graduated about 200 professionals.

A presentation by motivational speaker Dick Kirtley was also scheduled.
