Chicken Salad Chick officially opened its doors in Palm Coast on Tuesday, drawing enthusiastic crowds for a grand opening celebration that included giveaways and special promotions.
Franchise owners Darin and Lyndsey Melvin said they selected Palm Coast because of its rapid growth and strong sense of community. The opening featured a popular promotion in which the first 100 customers received free Chicken Salad Chick for a year. According to the owners, the first person in line arrived at 8 p.m. the night before to secure the top prize. Additional giveaways continue through Saturday as the restaurant welcomes customers to its newest Flagler County location.
