Local sorority showcases students

A group of rising young stars from pre-kindergarten to high school were recently showcased at an annual event held at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Palm Coast.

The event was sponsored by the members of Chi Delta Omega, a chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. The showcase was the culmination of a yearlong tutoring and mentoring program in partnership with the chapter and the scholarship ministry of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
