The Chi Delta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. presented their fourth-annual Dr. Martin Luther King Awards at a breakfast last month.
Sue Baety, Chi Delta Omega chapter president, presented Service to Humanity awards to Carlos Butler, Jeanette Wheeler and The African American Cultural Society; Commissioner Daisy M. Henry, of Bunnell; Councilmen William Lewis and Holsey Moorman, of Palm Coast; the Boys and Girls Club of Flagler County; Family Life Center for Domestic Violence; and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
Small trophies were also presented to volunteers who have worked with youth programs: James Cody, Brenda Davenport, Charles Frazier, James Freeman, Alfredund Phillips, Robert Whiting and Aaron Wilkins.
