This Weekend: Youth dance around Flagler

Seven Flagler County dance agencies will come together 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, for the Dance Around Flagler Performance, at the Flagler Auditorium, 5500 E. State Road 100.

Performances will include the Flagler Palm Coast High School dancers, Matanzas High School dancers, FPC Starlets, 3‘N Motion, Flagler School of Dance, North East Florida Dance Academy and Atlantic Vibe Performance Adademy.

This is the last event in the auditorium’s Holiday Extravaganza.

The Student Art Show will also be open in the black box that day.

Other events this weekend are:

Phillippine Simbang Gabi – 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at St. Stephen Catholic Chapel 2400 E. State Road 100. The San Lorenzo Ruiz Devotees of Palm Coast are organizing a Filipino tradition of starting the Christmas novena with a Simbang Gabi (evening Mass). The Philippine American Association Choir will be caroling at 6:30 p.m., followed by a pot luck fellowship serving a variety of traditional Philippine dishes.
 

Band and Chorus Holiday Concert – 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the Flagler Auditorium, 5500 E. State Road 100.
 

Santa’s Post Office – 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. Write your letter to Santa at home and bring it into mail in the special post office.
 

Worship Choir Christmas Concert – 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at First Baptist Church, 6050 Palm Coast Parkway N.W.

Hanukkah Latka Celebration Party – 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Temple Beth Shalom, 40 Wellington Drive. There is a $7 donation.
 

City of Bunnell Holiday Hayride – 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Edward Johnson Park, 401 Court Street, Bunnell. The ride will travel around the city, passing the light displays and spreading holiday cheer. Free hot chocolate, popcorn, candy canes and cookies for all attendees. Wear your holiday outfit and take pictures with Santa. The first ride leaves at 6:15 p.m., the last ride leaves at 7:30 p.m.
