For patients and families comparing care options, the U.S. News & World Report’s latest Best Hospitals rankings offer one more way to compare hospitals on quality and experience.
For the sixth consecutive year, AdventHealth Daytona Beach earned the No. 1 spot in the Deltona-Daytona Beach metro area.
AdventHealth Fish Memorial and AdventHealth Palm Coast ranked No. 2 and No. 3 in the Deltona-Daytona Beach metro area, respectively for the second year in a row.
AdventHealth Orlando also remained No. 1 in Central Florida for the 16th straight year, and AdventHealth Waterman ranked No. 3 in the Orlando metro area for the second year in a row.
U.S. News evaluates nearly 4,500 hospitals using measures such as outcomes, preventable complications, and patient experience. The rankings are based on performance.
Across the East Florida Division, AdventHealth’s eight hospitals received a total of 53 High Performing ratings, an increase from last year. Those recognitions include conditions and procedures in cardiac, orthopedic and cancer care.
The East Florida Division includes eight hospitals in Flagler, Lake, Marion, and Volusia counties, as well as over 75 care locations and more than 11,000 team members and physicians.
U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions. This year, 16% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation.
