David Holland, owner of Holland Financial, and his wife Toni, presented a $7,500 check to the American Cancer Society on July 27 to help kick off its fundraiser for "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer."
Leslie Castillo-Solis represented the American Cancer Society in accepting the donation.
The Making Strides event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 31, at The Riverfront Esplanade in Daytona Beach.
Over the past three decades, the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraising walk has united communities, companies, and individuals and has grown into the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer event, providing a supportive community for courageous breast cancer survivors and metastatic breast cancer thrivers, caregivers and families alike.
Holland Financial, 700 W. Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach, is this year's “HOPE Sponsor” and will be an active participant and vendor at the event.
