On Saturday, April 25, the fourth annual Children’s Business Fair brought a vibrant scene in Daytona Beach with more than 40 booths lining the street.
The event, held at the Riverfront Esplanade at 335 N. Beach St., showcased young entrepreneurs from across Volusia County, who each shared their unique talents and business ideas. Kids and teens offered everything from homemade jewelry and hand-crocheted crafts, to baked goods and creative trinkets.
According to a press release, each child experiences what it takes to be an entrepreneur at the fair — from developing a product, setting pricing, speaking with customers and selling their wares.
"The fair was founded with a vision to create a hands-on learning experience that goes beyond the classroom," the press release states. "Since its inception, the event has grown into a highly anticipated community gathering that celebrates creativity, hard work, and the spirit of entrepreneurship in young people."
