Vincent’s Clubhouse marked a decade of service in Flagler County with its 10th anniversary “Evening in Emerald City” gala, held Sunday at the Conservatory clubhouse at Hammock Beach.
The event brought together community leaders, supporters and families to celebrate the organization’s impact on individuals with autism and related disabilities. Organizers announced the gala raised just over $39,000 to support programs and services.
Executive Director and Founder Erica Flores said the milestone was both a reflection on the past and a look toward the future.
“It’s been such an overwhelmingly amazing experience having our community come out to celebrate what we’ve been able to accomplish the last 10 years,” Flores said. “It’s really not so much about the past, but the future and the lives we’re going to be able to impact going forward.”
Vincent’s Clubhouse was created to provide a place for individuals with disabilities to continue learning and building life skills after aging out of traditional school-based programs. What began as a small effort has grown into a dedicated enrichment center in Flagler County, serving families across the region.
“Ten years of belief, of perseverance, of building something that once only lived in my heart as a dream,” Flores said. “A place where individuals in our community would have a place to belong.”
The gala capped off a busy weekend for the organization. The day before, Vincent’s Clubhouse hosted its fourth annual Autism Awareness Festival and Resource Fair, further expanding outreach and awareness.
Flores said demand for services continues to grow, with more families turning to Vincent’s Clubhouse for support. As the organization enters its next chapter, she emphasized the importance of continued community involvement to reach even more individuals in need.
