Ormond Beach Police Athletic League raises $18K in annual Donut Dash 5K

A total of 297 people finished the race, which is held annually at the Trails Shopping Center in Ormond Beach.

It was a sweet Saturday for Ormond Beach, as the Ormond Beach Police Athletic League's annual Donut Dash 5K raised a total of $18,000 for its youth programs.

A total of 297 people finished the race, which is held annually at the Trails Shopping Center in Ormond Beach. The race winds through The Trails and Tomoka Oaks neighborhoods, and participants could grab Krispy Kreme doughnuts at stations.

The top 10 overall finishers were:

  1.  Hunter Shuler, 18, Daytona Beach — 17:12
  2.  Joey Davis, 18, Ormond Beach — 17:44
  3.  Barrett Jones, 15, Ormond Beach — 18:35
  4.  Paul Shuler, 60, Daytona Beach — 18:37
  5.  Kylar Deaton, 16, Ormond Beach — 18:52
  6.  Madison Kerr-Wong, 20, DeLand — 18:57
  7.  Audie Dayton, 16, Ormond Beach — 20:45
  8.  Lucy Fulton, 16, Ormond Beach — 20:53
  9.  Kevin Blazic, 62, Chesterfield, New Jersey — 20:55
  10.  Brad Pinker, 40, Ormond Beach — 21:04
