Karen Green was back dishing up her Jamaican specialties almost two years after her Island Flavaz restaurant in Flagler Beach closed due to Hurricane Ian.
The new Island Flavaz in Palm Coast’s City Market Place had a grand opening on June 1 with a ribbon cutting, music, free goat soup and a selection of Carribean favorites.
Island Flavaz at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Unit C-110, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with selections that include callaloo and saltfish on the breakfast menu, Jerk chicken or pork and curry goat on the lunch and dinner menu and beef and vegetable patties.
There are also vegan meals, salads, a soup of the day and dessert pastries.
