No one could promise us tomorrow but our promise to each other was to learn to cherish our every day.
What was so new back then still doesn’t feel old after so many years.
But time has a way and God had a plan. He eventually said, “Here take my hand.”
So, I won’t say farewell and I can’t say goodbye.
I loved you, will miss you, and in time will be with you again.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the St. Joseph’s Carmelite Monastery, at 141 Carmelite Drive, Bunnell.
