The Ormond Beach Lei-dees’ Group for 50+ recently held its October Bunco night with a “Pirate” theme, and the members donated enough items and gift cards for 10 families' Thanksgiving celebration.

The members made donations to the Volusia Thanksgiving Basket Brigade — a family event where volunteers come together in the spirit of contribution and become "Turkey Heroes" by creating and delivering Thanksgiving boxes to families in need in our community, according to a press release.
