The city's new solid waste provider will begin providing trash and recycling services to Palm Coast on June 1.

In July 2022, the Palm Coast City Council approved a resolution for a seven-year residential solid waste agreement with FCC Environmental Services Inc., a press release from the city said. The current contract with Waste Pro expires on May 31.

Residents should receive mailers from FCC in their mailbox in late May with information about services and pickup dates. Most pickup days will stay the same, the press release said, with trash pick up occurring twice a week and once a week for bulk, yard waste and recycling.

The residential rate is $32.32 per month and will go into effect on June 1.

FCC will have more pick-up routes and fewer residential addresses per route, the press release said. The city has launched a website to answer common questions about the changes. It can be viewed at: https://www.palmcoast.gov/public-works/garbage/new-residential-collection-by-fcc
