An app that connects homeowners with lawn care professionals launched this week in Ormond Beach.
Using the GreenPal app, homeowners can list their lawns with their service date and lawn care needs and vetted lawn care professionals can then bid on their properties based on Google aerial images and other lawn details provided by the homeowner, according to a press release. Homeowners will then select who they wish to service their yard, based on the vendor's ratings, reviews and price.
“After successfully launching in 250 other markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Ormond Beach find reliable, safe, and local lawn care,” GreenPal Co-Founder Gene Caballero said in a press release.
Once a service has been completed, the lawn care professional will send a time-stamped photo of the completed work. Homeowners can then pay via the app and set up more appointments. Visit https://www.yourgreenpal.com/local/lawn-care-ormond-beach-fl.
Tara Gugliara was promoted to assistant vice president/assistant manager of the Volusia Banking Center for Intracoastal Bank, a press release announced March 21.
Gugliara has held a variety of roles for Intracoastal for the past six years. In her new role, she will have responsibility for supporting all aspects of consumer banking including sales, service and operations. She will continue to be active in supporting development and servicing of business banking relationships.
Gugliara has been active in a variety of organizations including serving as an ambassador for the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers as a sponsor and mentor for the Take Stock in Children for Futures Foundation for Volusia County Schools.
