Chick-fil-A Palm Coast team members receive scholarships

Six Chick-fil-A Palm Coast team members were surprised with giant scholarship checks when they walked in for their shifts on May 29, according to a news release from Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A Palm Coast Operator Glen Efford presented the checks, which altogether totaled $15,000, to Heather Burnett, Tiffany Pane, Maria Maglalang, Mariah Siebert, Shantel Hanna and Dakota Schake. Maglalang is receiving the scholarship for the second year, while Siebert’s is receiving it for the third year.

Scholarship awardees are recommended by the restaurant's senior leadership and must show involvement in the community and have an influential role in the restaurant, according to the news release.
