Local oral and facial surgeon Dr. Bradley Pinker was recently honored with a new accreditation.

According to a press release, Pinker was awarded a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons accreditation, which makes him one of only a few oral-maxillofacial surgery fellows in Volusia and Flagler counties, and the newest fellow at Florida Oral and Facial Surgical Associations. His colleagues Dr. Curtis Schalit and Roger Thayer have both previously received the distinction.

“I am honored to join my esteemed colleagues in receiving this accreditation,” Pinker said in the press release. “My fellow surgeons and I work diligently to provide the very best care for our patients. In receiving this honor, I am furthering my education and training to enhance my skills and implement the latest technologies and techniques.”

The FACS accreditation is awarded to surgeons whose education, training, qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct pass an evaluation and are consistent with the standards established by the American College of Surgeons

Pinker joined Florida Oral and Facial Surgical Associates in 2018. He specializes in orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial pathology, maxillofacial trauma and robot-assisted dental implant surgery with the use of the Yomi robotic system.
