Deputies raided a Mondex home and arrested 51-year-old resident Raymond Dukes on multiple drug charges the morning of May 4, seizing fentanyl, methamphetamines, synthetic cathinones (commonly referred to as "bath salts") and other drugs.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office had obtained a search warrant for the home at 1166 Forest Park Street in Bunnell after an undercover investigation by the FCSO's Special Investigation Unit, which executed the search warrant with the assistance of the FCSO SWAT Team.

Three adults were at the home when the property was searched. Detectives seized approximately 13 grams of fentanyl, eight grams of methamphetamine, four grams of synthetic cathinones, five suboxone strips and other drug paraphernalia.

Dukes was arrested and charged with Trafficking Fetanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Suboxone, Possession of Synthetic Cathinones with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

“This poison peddler had enough fentanyl to kill 6,500 people,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “He didn’t learn his lesson in 2019, so I hope he learns it this time. If you are a poison peddler in Flagler County, we are coming for you next!”

Dukes is at the county jail on $65,500 bond. This isn’t his first time there. Dukes was arrested in 2018 for Failure to Pay Child Support and again in 2019 for Possession of Heroin within 1000 Feet of a Park.
