Joseph F. Bartlett

  • Rank / Occupation: Petty Officer 3rd Class / Aviation Ordnanceman

Joseph Bartlett served both during World War II and the Korean War. Following his military service Bartlett was a police officer in Dedham, Massachusetts, for 24 years before moving to Bonita Springs, Florida.

He is a prolific golfer and worked at various golf courses for 40 years and only stopped when he reached the age of 92. One of his notable golf moments was in 1961, when he beat Arnold Palmer at a course in Massachusetts. In those days Palmer would tour and play against amateurs for exhibition.

Bartlett and his wife Catherine moved to Palm Coast in 2021.
