Ormond Beach Volusia Flagler Family YMCA to host new wellness center grand opening

The Volusia Flagler Family YMCA will host a grand opening of the organization’s recently renovated wellness center located at 500 Sterthaus Drive #5128.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. The event includes raffle drawings for prizes, personal training demonstrations, a visit from a national HIIT class trainer, ballroom dancing and more.

“This is the next phase of our expansion and remodel — we opened the new playground this past September,” said Chris Seilkop, president and CEO of the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA. “Our next phase includes renovation of the adult and children's locker rooms, new kids zone, new childcare center and new group exercise and spin class rooms."

Amenities at the Ormond Beach YMCA include: state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, group exercise studios, cycle studio, heated outdoor pool (open year round), indoor basketball gymnasium, personal training and massage services, splash pad, after school care and much more.
