The Rue & Ziffra personal injury law firm donated donated $1,000 to the Marine Science Center this month to support the release of Zelda, a juvenile green sea turtle, during the Marine Science Center's 20th anniversary celebration.

Since opening in 2002, the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet has hosted more than one million visitors and cared for over 20,000 sea turtles and more than 18,000 birds representing over 200 different species, according to the center's website.

“We are very excited to be able to support the various programs in our community who help our marine life thrive,” said Rue & Ziffra President and Managing Partner Allan Ziffra.

Each month, RZ Cares — a monthly community support initiative from Rue & Ziffra — donates to an organization in the community.

Rue & Ziffra has locations in Palm Coast, Port Orange, DeLand and Lake Mary.
