Participants in The Dance Method's "Encanto" Dance Camp got a surprise guest Friday, June 10, the last day of the weeklong camp: Mirabel.
The "Encanto" character Mirabel was played by Isebele B., with arrangements by Melyssa Meinert's Ormond Beach-based company, Magic Mirror Princess Parties.
"It brought me so much joy to see the magic in all of their eyes when Mirabel was there," The Dance Method owner Lauren Jaussi said. "It was so special to witness."
Jaussi will be hosting another camp this summer, themed Christmas in July. It's 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 13-15, at Rymfire Elementary School, in Palm Coast. Bring your own lunch, but the camp includes dance instruction, crafts, games and other activities — and another surprise guest. The cost is $150, including $50 due at registration.
