Professional Women of Flagler County names Woman of the Year, Business of the Year

New board members for 2022 took office on Jan. 1. Business for Breakfast will be Feb. 4

The Professional Women of Flagler County will host the group’s semi-annual member open board meeting on Friday, Feb. 4 at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 55 Town Center Blvd., Palm Coast.

The event will be a Business for Breakfast and in addition to going over upcoming events and program planning, there will be remarks from the 2021 grant recipients: Sexual Health Educator Erica Rivera, and Nikki White, CEO of The American Flag Project. Both members now serve on the 2022 Board of Directors that was installed at the PWFC Holiday Event on Dec. 9, 2021.

The group also named Woman of the Year Bebe Kelly of Home Instead Senior Care, and Business of the Year Elite Dance & Travels proprietor Magdaline Piekarz last month.

New board members for 2022 that took office on January 1st include:

President - Jennifer Zotara, Vice President - Nina Guiglotto, Secretary - Diane Vidal, Treasurer / Immediate Past President - Danielle Silva, Director of Membership - Marilyn Edwards, Director of Marketing - Cindy Dalecki, Communications Chair - Erica Rivera, Director of Events - Vanessa Cole, Program Chair - Amelia Fulmer, and Flag Committee Chair - Nikki White.

New board president Jennifer Zotara is a Senior Sales Associate at the O’Quinn Insurance Agency. Zotara is originally from Concord, North Carolina, and has resided in Palm Coast for almost 20 years. In 2019, she was named PWC Woman of the Year for Flagler County, graduated from Flagler Leadership Class 27, and is one of the region's top Allstate producers.

PWFC is committed to the women in the Flagler County business community who need networking for sales and support, and those in need of education to grow in their current positions. The group offers a variety of sponsorship levels and is actively reaching out to local businesses for community outreach, engagement and opportunities to support professional women in Flagler County.
