When you can't 'have it your way'

10:52 p.m. 6100 block of State Road 100

Physical disturbance. A woman who worked at a local fast food restaurant walked into the restaurant on one of her days off and ordered the employees there to make her a meal.

They did so, and she told them that they were doing it wrong. They told her to do it herself, then.

She walked into the kitchen to do so. A manager noticed and started yelling at her, smacking food out of the woman's hands as she picked it up. She turned to the manager and smacked him.

A deputy arrived. The manager said the woman had repeatedly been warned not to come into the kitchen when she was out of uniform and not scheduled to work.

He told the deputy that  he just wanted to the woman to leave. She did.

Security footage foils attempt to scam phone store

9:17 p.m. 200 block of Palm Coast Parkway Northeast

Larceny. A man and a woman walked into a mobile phone store. The man handed the woman $600 to open two phone lines in his name.

The transaction was not approved, and a store employee handed the cash back to the woman. The woman later left the store.

But the man then said the money had been stolen from him, accusing the employees of keeping it.

A deputy arrived. Surveillance footage showed the woman taking the cash in full view of the man, and the two whispering to each other and kissing inside the store before the woman walked out.

Deputies arrested both the woman and the man.
