FPC advances in lacrosse

Flagler Palm Coast's boys lacrosse team advanced to the District 3-2A championship game with a 15-11 win over Fleming Island on April 12.

The Bulldogs improved to 11-4 with the semifinal victory. They will meet top seed Creekside on Thursday, April 14.

FPC likely secured a playoff spot with the win over Fleming Island. A district title would mean a home game in the first round of the playoffs.

Creekside, the fifth-ranked team in Class 2A, defeated the Bulldogs 13-5 on March 22. It was FPC's only loss by more than one goal this season.
