Ronald D. Stark

  • Branch of Military: U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army, Retired
  • Dates of Service: U.S.M.C. (1988-1992), U.S. Army (2002-2010)
  • Rank / Occupation: Staff Sergeant / Infantryman
  • Hometown: Sheridan, Kansas

Ronald Stark resides in Palm Coast with his wife Katie. Stark is the current commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696, a position he’s held previously.

Stark enlisted in the Marines and is a veteran of Operation: Desert Storm / Desert Shield, during which he earned the Marine Combat Action Ribbon.  After a 10 year break in service, Stark answered the call after the attacks of 9/11, and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served as an infantryman and was three times deployed to combat in Iraq.

Stark is the recipient of the Bronze Star with Valor, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Army Commendation Medal and many other service awards. His son Doug currently serves in the U.S. Navy.
